Adult Fall Sunday School Classes—Will begin next Sunday, September 12, 2010.  The classes  are a great way to grow in your faith & life.  Plan now to attend one of the following classes:

Teacher Recognition Sunday—Sunday, September 19th, we will include an insert in the bulletin with the names & schools of all of Trinity’s teachers in Public Schools, Christian Schools, Home Schools, Colleges, Universities, etc.  We will recognize & pray for these teachers in each of the services during the announcements.  The insert will be provided to encourage you to pray for these influential people in the lives of so many young people.  If you are a teacher, please mark your attendance slip with your name & school, call the church office at 545-4271, or send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Fall Schedule—On Sunday, September 12th we will be returning to our previous Sunday morning schedule of 2 worship services.  The times will again be 8:15 & 11:00 AM for Worship services & 9:45 AM for Sunday School.  There will be no evening worship service on that day due to the Shepherd Group Community Kick-off & Pig Roast that afternoon.  Session will be evaluating the summer schedule.  Please share any of your input about the combined service with an Elder.

SGC Fall Kickoff & Pig Roast—Next Sunday, September 12, 2010. Sign up on the back of your attendance slip or on the SGC Bulletin Board.  Everyone is invited, you do not need to be in a SGC to attend.

Shepherd Group Communities begin soon—Shepherd Group Communities are small groups meeting in local homes for Bible study & fellowship.  There’s still time to get involved.  Indicate your interest on the back of your attendance slip.

Fall Workday—Mark your calendars for the fall workday here at Trinity, on Saturday, October 2nd.

Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study—Saturday, September 11th. All men are invited to breakfast & Bible study at the Perkins Restaurant at Route 39 & Interstate 81 every other Saturday from 8:00 – 9:00 AM, studying the book of Habakkuk. Women in the Church (WIC)

Save the Date—Ladies, clear your calendars & plan to join us for our Women in the Church’s Fall Kick-off “Apple Fest Picnic” on Saturday, September 25th from 12:00 – 2:00 PM in the narthex.  More exciting details to come!

Bible Studies—Morning WIC will begin meeting weekly on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 – 11:00 AM starting on September 28th.  Child care will be provided.  WIC@Nite will begin meeting weekly on Wednesdays during Kid’s Club from 6:30 – 7:45 PM on September 29th.

Nursery Renovation Update

Architectural Plans Submitted—The architectural plans for the nursery update were submitted to Lower Paxton Township on August 9th.

MISSIONS

Prayer Cards—Recently we hosted 3 missionaries here at Trinity, Stephen Beck, Stephen & Berenice Rarig, & Chad Brewer.  The Becks & Rarigs have left prayer cards at the missions board if you are interested in picking one up to support their ministry through your prayers or financial giving. You may also sign up to receive their monthly email updates by sending a message to their email addresses.

Bethesda Mission—Thank you for your donations in July. In August we will continue to collect plastic wrap & aluminum foil. Donations may be left in the basket in the narthex.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Kid’s Club—Begins this Wednesday, September 8th from 6:30 – 7:45 PM.  We will be collecting school supplies for Armenia Bonito school in Honduras.  See the flyer on the children’s board for what they need.

YOUTH MINISTRY

No Sr. High Youth Group—Tonight due to the Labor Day holiday tomorrow.  We will resume meeting next Sunday, September 12th.   FACEBOOK

Jr. High Youth Group—Wednesday, September 8th at 6:30 PM.

Adult Youth Leader Meeting—Tuesday, September 7th, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Trinity.

Ropes Course—Saturday, September 25th from 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM.  The cost is $25.  Get the registration form at the youth table.  The deadline to sign up is September 19th.

Teen Leader Meeting—Sunday, September 12th at 3:30 PM.  Dinner provided.

Street Evangelism Project—Saturday, September 11th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  Bring money or a bagged lunch.  Sign up at the youth table.
