Advent Adult Sunday School—Join us this Advent season for “Advent—It’s About Time” an adult Sunday school class meeting downstairs in B-14. On 12/21, David Cross will consider “The Prayers of Advent and Christmas” from historical prayers used by some churches for this season of the year. On 12/28, James LaGrand will consider “Epiphany: The Light of Christ to All Nations.” Many Christians around the world celebrate Epiphany on January 6. This class will help us anticipate two main themes traditionally emphasized at Epiphany – the light of Christ and the taking of the gospel message to all nations – through Scripture and song. Join us and bring friends as we remember together both the longing for and the joyful news that Jesus has come into the world!
Sunday Morning International Fellowship Class—We invite our international friends to join us Sunday mornings in Room 212. Our purpose is to teach English using biblical narratives, to introduce and teach the basics of Christianity as it emerges from the study of God’s Word, and to build bridges between our congregation and the internationals who join us. Class taught by Bob Eickelberg.
Christmas Eve Invitations—Please take and distribute Christmas Eve invitations for family, friends, neighbors, etc. from our literature table in the Narthex. Take as many as you can use. Invitations are available for Harrisburg and Hershey respectively.
Holidays with Your Church Family—As Christmas & New Year’s Day approach, we ask you to remember those in our church family who may not have local family members with whom to share the holidays. If you would enjoy extending an invitation to someone who might otherwise spend the holiday by themselves, please do so. If you’re willing to host someone(s) contact the church office, 545-4271.
