"Teaching the Bible… by grace through faith"

Sunday School

Our Sunday morning Bible classes are offered at 9:00 am.  We have classes for all ages.  We work on the quarter system: September through November; December through February; March through May and June through August.

CHILDREN – Our 3 year old children through 6th graders go through curriculum by Great Commission Publications.  We have 5 classes of children:  3’s and 4’s; Pre K and K; 1st and 2nd Grades; 3rd and 4th Grades;  and 5th and 6th grades.

MIDDLE SCHOOL – Our Middle School students go through a 2 year cycling curriculum on the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Shorter Catechism.  By the time they go to high school they will have gone through both of these documents.

HIGH SCHOOL – Our High School students go through a 4 year curriculum where every other quarter is a survey of a section of the Bible or topics that are pertinent to their spiritual growth and maturity.  This quarter they are considering the cults and religions in our world and how we need to view them through the lens of scripture.

ADULTS – We try to offer a variety of topics for our adults, usually having a Bible class and a topical class.  Here are the classes we are offering this quarter for our adults.

  1. Discipleship 101 – In this class we are going back to the basics of what it means to be in a discipleship relationship.  The class will help us identify people God has put in our lives, Christian and non-Christian, who need Godly people to lead them.  We lead by teaching, modeling and helping those people God has put int our lives.  We are using the book The Master Plan of Evangelism as a jumping point.  We are looking at how Jesus poured all his time into 12 men, trained and discipled them on what it means to follow Him and then have a huge impact on the world.
  2. The Attributes of God – This is a video class that looks at the different attributes of God.  Dr. Steven Lawson teaches this video.  He wants to drive home the point that a right understanding of God impacts every area of our lives.
  3. Women’s Class – This women’s class is doing a discussion on the book, “Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World” by Joanna Weaver.
